Coroner confirms Swansea shooting Wednesday was homicide, IDs victim

Lexington, SC (Paul Kirby) - Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher has now confirmed that the shooting that occurred near Swansea late Wednesday night was a homicide. She has also identified the victim of that crime.

Fisher said in a release late Thursday evening that Robert William All, Jr., 22, was discovered after having been shot multiple times. Her statement also said that the shooting occurred shortly after 11:00 p.m. on Wednesday. This incident happened in the 100 block of Toole Smith Road near Swansea. According to Coroner Fisher, All was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

This is the second shooting death in the Swansea and Gaston portion of the county that has occurred this week. The first happened in the 600 block of Woodtrail Drive near Gaston on Tuesday. Detectives have not said what the motive behind either shooting was. The Lexington County Sheriff’s Department is continuing to investigate both.
