Lexington detectives seek identities of vehicle theft suspects

Lexington, SC – Chief Terrence Green is requesting the help of the Town of Lexington community in identifying five black male subjects who were involved in the theft of two vehicles and also suspected of being involved in a series of vehicle break-ins of unsecured vehicles at two apartment complexes.

In the early morning hours of Tuesday, July 17, 2018, multiple vehicles were broken into within the Reserve at Mill Landing Apartments and Cedarcrest Apartments, which complexes are located on East Main Street, and victims reported multiple items stolen including a handgun and a laptop computer.

Officers also took incident reports of two vehicles which were stolen from the Reserve at Mill Landing Apartments that were described as a silver 2014 Hyundai Accent and a dark green 2017 Nissan Pathfinder. During the course of the investigation, it was found that the five black male subjects met at a nearby convenience store while in the two stolen vehicles along with a third vehicle described as a silver sedan of unknown make.
