Homicide victim identified

Lexington, SC (Paul Kirby) - Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher has now identified the victim of the homicide that occurred Monday evening in the 300 block of Sandspur Road in Pelion. Coroner Fisher said that Aaron Matthew Peterson, 38, of Pelion suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the upper body and was pronounced dead at the scene.

An investigation by the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department is ongoing.
