SCDOT hosting public hearing on Carolina Crossroads I-20/26/126 corridor project

Columbia, SC - The South Carolina Department of Transportation is set to host an upcoming Carolina Crossroads Public Hearing. The purpose of the hearing is to present and solicit comments on the proposed solution to fix Malfunction Junction and the Draft Environmental Impact Statement.

The hearing will be held:

· Thursday, August 23rd, 2018

· Time: 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

· Location: Columbia Conference Center on 169 Laurelhurst Avenue, Columbia, SC 29210

Although the meeting will be an open house format, SCDOT is encouraging the public to send in any comments or questions on the project prior to the hearing.

Public comment must be posted to the project website: www.SCDOTCarolinaCrossroads.com.

The Carolina Crossroads I-20/26/126 Corridor Improvement Project is the number one statewide interstate priority for South Carolina. When complete, the Carolina Crossroads Project will improve local mobility and reduce traffic congestion in the corridor.
