Lexington District Three invites citizens to learn more about upcoming referendum
Batesburg-Leesville, SC - The Lexington County School District Three Board of Trustees is pursuing a bond referendum in the November 2018 general election. If passed, the bond issue would allow the school district to borrow up to $90 million to fund renovations at the existing B-L Primary School facility and to build a brand new B-L High School, in effect addressing the safety, student growth, and aging building issues that have concerned Board members for years.
Lexington Three wants to ensure that community members have an opportunity to learn more about the district’s short and long-term needs and to ask questions about the referendum. As a result, several public meetings are planned.
Monday, September 10th at 7 pm in the B-L High School cafeteria (600 Summerland Avenue B-L, SC 29006)
