Dirt bike stolen from Lexington apartment complex, police asking for help

Lexington, SC (Paul Kirby) – Two men are wanted for questioning in the theft of a dirt-bike last weekend. According to Lexington police officers, the two men drove into the parking lot of an apartment complex around 4:00 a.m. on the morning of September 14th in what looks like a white, extended cab, Chevrolet pickup truck. The men then went into another area, took a Kawasaki KX-400 dirt-bike, loaded it into the back of the truck, and then drove away. All of this was caught on video by a neighbor who had a video camera pointed at the parking area. The way that the men apparently knew the complex, or at least where the bike was kept, might lead you to believe that they had been there before, although that hasn’t been confirmed.

Please look at the video closely. If you have any idea who these two men are, please contact Detective Lee with the Lexington Police Department at (803) 358-1517. Your help is appreciated.
