Lexington Girl's Softball cancels all games and activities

Lexington, SC - In preparation of severe weather from Hurricane Michael, Lexington Girls’ Softball is canceling all daytime and evening events scheduled to take place at the Lexington Girls’ Softball Complex, located at 1159 Nazareth Road. This includes all softball games or practices or events, any LGS related meetings or activities scheduled for Wednesday 10/10/18 — Thursday 10/11/18.

The LGS Board of Directors will send parents, players and volunteers notifications of any changes through email and social media once the closure is lifted.

Currently, all fields at the Lexington Girls’ Softball complex are locked and The Board of Directors asks that during this time that you remain off the fields so they can be restored to the proper playing condition as soon as possible. Playing on the field before, during or after a large amount of rain which is predicted to be coming to our area from Hurricane Michael can cause further delays in returning the fields to the proper conditions for athletic games and practices.

Remember, LGS members can also get updates and information about field openings and closings at the league’s website www.lgssc.com or by following the league on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter.
