Irmo PD assist Richland County Sheriff’s Department in busting drug ring
Irmo, SC (Paul Kirby) – Sunday, officers with Irmo Police Department were asked by the Richland County Sheriff's Department to assist them in serving warrants in the 500 block of Parlock Road in the New Friarsgate subdivision. They gladly provided the assistance to an agency they work closely with regularly. The town of Irmo straddles the Lexington / Richland County lines and parts of the town are in each.
During the operation, six people were arrested at the residence on various drug related charges and an outstanding warrant. The individuals included David Senko, 27, who has been charged with trafficking heroin, Sandra Seward, 54, two counts of possession of a controlled substance, Craig Valentine, 25, charged with possession of Methamphetamine, and two counts of possession of a controlled substance. Additionally, Valentine had an outstanding warrant for burglary. Ashley Jeffcoat, 30, and Madison Ignat, 21, were taken into custody on charges of trafficking heroin, and Derek Altier, 32, was arrested and charged with possession of Methamphetamine, and two counts of possession of a controlled substance.
All subjects were taken into custody by the Richland County deputies and booked into the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center. They were awaiting a bond hearing Monday.
