Lexington PD make arrest in indecent exposure case
Lexington, SC – Chief Terrence Green is announcing the arrest of David Dale Becker, age 39 of West Columbia, South Carolina, who was charged with Indecent Exposure for an incident that occurred in the Lexington Pavilion parking lot which is located at the 5100 block of Sunset Blvd. in Lexington, South Carolina.
On Saturday, November 24, 2018, at approximately 4:30 p.m., officers met with a victim who stated that while she was in her vehicle in the parking lot of the Lexington Pavilion, she saw a white male, who was later identified as David Becker, driving up and down the rows of parked vehicles near the Target store. The victim told officers that when David Becker saw that she was sitting in her vehicle that he parked his vehicle nearby. The victim stated that she watched as David Becker lifted himself out of the vehicle seat to show her his penis and that he was masturbating. The victim stated that David Becker then opened his vehicle door while he continued to masturbate. The victim drove away from where David Becker had parked and immediately contacted the Lexington Police Department.
After an investigation into this incident, detectives arrested David Becker on December 1, 2018 on a warrant for Indecent Exposure. He was transported to the Lexington County Detention Center and when seen by a judge at Lexington County Bond Court, David Becker was given a surety bond of $2,000 and to have no contact with the victim.
