Lexington Two's newest facility to be dedicated December 11
West Columbia, SC - Lexington Two will dedicate its newest facility, the state-of-the-art Innovation Center, during a ceremony next week.
The dedication is set for 6 p.m. Tuesday, December 11, at the school, 509 Bulldog Blvd. Guest speakers will include State Sen. Nikki Setzler and Cayce Mayor Elise Partin. After the ceremony, there will be self-guided tours of the facility, with Innovation Center faculty will be in on hand for questions.
Students in the Culinary Arts program, under the direction of instructor and Chef Isaac Pressley, will prepare refreshments.
The 110,000-square-foot Innovation Center, which opened in October, houses a number of college and career readiness programs for high schoolers as well as dual enrollment and Advanced Placement courses. The programs include:
