Pine Ridge swears in interim police chief and new lieutenant
Pine Ridge, SC (Paul Kirby) – The Town of Pine Ridge took a few minutes out of their meeting Tuesday night to swear in Interim Police Chief Frankie Neeley and their newest lieutenant, Vincent Silano. Both men have extensive police experience.
Neeley is a full-time employee of the SC National Guard. He has been an officer with Pine Ridge on a part-time basis for quite some time. He was appointed as interim chief in early October after the department went without a chief since the resignation of former Police Chief Nicholas Scott.
Lt. Vincent Silano was formerly with the Cayce Department of Public Safety prior to coming to Pine Ridge. COPS Team Officer Josh Addy of Cayce was at the Pine Ridge meeting to congratulate Silano on his new position.
Both men were flanked by family members as they took their oaths of office Tuesday.
