Detectives seeking identity of man and woman who stole from Wal-Mart in Red Bank

Red Bank, SC (Paul Kirby) – Detectives with the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department are turning to the public for help identifying a man and woman they believe committed larceny at the Wal-Mart in Red Bank. The two were caught on camera going in and out the store and now, the investigators think someone may recognize them.

Both of the suspects are Caucasian. The man has reading glasses perched on his head as if he’s worn them that way regularly. He’s also wearing a grey hoodie. The woman has a stocky build and is wearing either a bracelet or a thin watch on her right wrist.

Stealing from stores is not a victimless crime. Stores like Wal-Mart include the cost of thefts into the prices that we all pay for items in the store. This makes shopping more expensive for us all. Someone must know who these two are.

If you do know these two, or even if you think you might, please call Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME SC. You can also provide tips on their website at midlandscrimestoppers.com. There’s a SUBMIT A TIP tab and no one needs to know you made the tip. There’s even an app called the P3 that’s available from the app stores. You can also make a tip through it.
