West Columbia, SC - Is your young child interested in the arts? Enrollment is open for Lexington Two students interested in attending Saluda River Academy for the Arts as magnet students in the 2019-20 school year.
The school will offer an Arts Magnet Night open house, from 5:30-7 pm Monday, February 25, for prospective students and families to visit the school and learn more about the programs. Light refreshments will be served.
Applicants must be in first through fifth grades in the 2019-20 school year to be eligible. Students are selected based on interest in an arts-focused program; no auditions are required. Parents must be able to provide transportation if their child is accepted.
Applications are available at all Lexington Two elementary schools; at the district office, 715 Ninth St., West Columbia; and on Saluda River’s website. Qualified students will be notified by letter.
Saluda River Academy for the Arts is located at 1520 Duke St., West Columbia.
