Deputies respond to reported burglary in progress at Red Bank church

Red Bank, SC - Deputies responded this morning to Red Bank United Methodist Church on South Lake Drive to a reported burglary in progress after a church employee apparently encountered a suspect inside the church.

The suspect fled before deputies could arrive. A K-9 unit was activated and a track was established near the church. That track has since been called off and the suspect was not apprehended.
