BLHS counseling office sets up "Prom Shoppe" for local students
Batesburg-Leesville, SC - The B-L High School Counseling Office has set up a makeshift “Prom Shoppe” for local junior and senior students who need help finding a dress and shoes for prom. The “Prom Shoppe,” which is up and running in the counseling office’s conference room, isn’t just open to students from B-L High School. Counselors say students from surrounding schools who might need assistance obtaining a wardrobe for prom are welcome to come and shop as well. All of the items are free of charge.
Students at B-L High School can shop during Halftime, while students from other schools need to contact the B-L High School main office to make an appointment (803-532-9251). The “Prom Shoppe” will remain open through Friday, March 22nd. Any community members who would like to donate a prom dress can drop it off at the school, which is located at 600 Summerland Avenue in Batesburg-Leesville.
