Chapin police investigators release image of woman suspect wanted for questioning

Chapin, SC (Paul Kirby) – The Chapin Police Department is asking the public for their assistance in identifying an individual they believe may be a suspect in a theft that occurred around the 1400 block of Chapin Road recently. The suspect was caught on video surveillance outside of a store pushing a shopping cart. She appears to be a middle-age or older Caucasian woman who was wearing dark clothing and carrying a medium or large purse at the time. Please remember, she may look different today, especially since her photo has been circulated on the internet.

Chief Zeigler and the men and women of the Chapin Police Department hope that someone knows her so they can ask her some questions.
