Dedicated volunteer at South Congaree-Pine Ridge Branch Library recognized

South Congaree, SC (Paul Kirby) – Mrs. Dolores Gambrell, president of the Friends of the South Congaree - Pine Ridge Branch Library, received the Outstanding Individual Award this week at the FOSCL (Friends of South Carolina Libraries) annual meeting in Florence. This award recognizes an individual whose contributions to the support and advancement of public libraries has been outstanding.

Dolores is the wife of Andy Gambrell. She’s the mother of two grown children and a grandmother as well. She has lived in Blue Ridge Terrace for many years where she and her husband raised their family. She’s not only volunteered countless hours at the library, she’s been involved in numerous other efforts to make the town a better place to live.

All the staff of the library said that they wanted to publicly congratulate Dolores for winning this much deserved award.
