Cayce Public Safety ask public if they recognize man using fraudulent cards
Cayce, SC (Paul Kirby) – The Cayce Department of Public Safety is asking the public if they might recognize a man that is wanted for questioning in a case that involves credit card fraud. This happened in the middle of March. They believe the man used a card that wasn’t his to purchase items from a convenience store. He was clearly caught on camera so seeing his face is no problem.
The suspect is a young African American that appears to have a dark complexion and is wearing blue jeans with a black belt. He has a denim hoodie on, and the main body of the jacket is darker than its sleeves. The hood itself is gray. At the time of the incident, the man had facial hair on his chin and maybe even a small mustache, but of course that could change. He had on dark boots or some other heavy footwear.
The Cayce officers ask that you look at the video closely. They want you to remember that he could have shaved his face, and even discarded the clothes. If you recognize the man, the Cayce officers want you to call them at (803) 794-0456. You can also notify Midlands Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME SC or www.midlandscrimestoppers.com. Information that leads to an arrest can result in a reward of up to $1,000.
