Pine Haven Cremation Estates plans dedication at Lexington memorial park

Lexington, SC, April 16, 2019: Woodridge Memorial Park, a long-established cemetery and memorial park on Corley Mill Road in Lexington, just announced the completion of the Pine Haven Cremation Estates, located on the grounds of Woodridge. Now, they are planning a formal dedication of the Cremation Estates on April 27 from 11 AM – 2 PM. Light refreshments will be served, and tours of the memorial park will be provided.

The project, which began in late 2018, offers families a number of new and innovative options for the permanent placement of the cremated remains of their loved ones. “With the Pine Haven Cremation Estates, we now offer a variety of memorialization options to suit the personal tastes and budgets of all families,” stated Greg Cordak, the memorial park’s family service director. “With the growth of cremation, it’s crucial that the park provide a range of choices for our families. Pine Haven Cremation Estates does just that.”

As more and more people choose cremation for themselves or a loved one, the staff at the Woodridge Memorial Park felt it important to provide a dedicated location in the memorial park for the permanent placement of cremated remains. The new Pine Haven Cremation Estates features:

+ A pedestal columbarium that features the USC logo and another that showcases the Clemson logo

+ Cremation posts that accommodate the cremated remains of 1 to 2 people

+ Columbaria that feature praying hands, a bible or a fish on the top of the pedestal

+ Personal columbarium estates that accommodate the cremated remains of 2 or 4 people

+ Walls of cremation niches that contain trellises that feature vines and other climbing plants

+ Hollow boulders that can contain the cremated remains that will be placed near and around trees

As part of the overall project, Woodridge has also more than doubled the space in cemetery’s Chapel Mausoleum. New casketed crypt spaces have been added with single and companion options that now address every preference, tradition and budget.

The memorial park is located at 138 Corley Mill Rd. in Lexington, SC.
