Drive-through of Chik-Fil-A at Saluda Pointe Lexington damaged by car wreck Friday night

Lexington, SC (Paul Kirby) – The driver of a small sedan lost control of their car, crashed through a brick wall, and came to a stop in the bushes of the drive-through at the Chik-Fil-A Saluda Pointe in Lexington Friday night. It caused the lane to be closed until the car and debris could be cleared away. The Lexington Police Department said that the wreck was caused when the driver got confused and hit the accelerator instead of the brakes.

An ambulance from Lexington County EMS responded as well as a truck from the Lexington County Fire Service. The driver of the car was transported to a local medical center with unknown injuries.
