Lexington detectives have an update on the CVS investigation

Lexington, SC (Paul Kirby) - Detectives are still investigating the armed robbery that happened at the CVS pharmacy on Sunset Blvd. early Thursday morning. Around 6:15 a.m., they released some photos from the security cameras that showed a young black male that was the suspect who entered the store and stole the narcotics. That footage made him appears as if he had partial dreadlocks. Police need to identify the young man, along with his accomplice, who were involved in this incident and hope the public might help.

Since they released the original pictures, they have had a development in the case. During the investigation and the evidence processing where the victims’ mobile phones were found on North Lake Drive, a black hair wig was found. It is now believed to have been worn by the armed robber. The wig may have been worn over dreads to disguise his identity.
