BLHS honors grads, MTC degree recipients recognized at Chamber of Commerce Meeting
Batesburg-Leesville, SC - On Thursday, April 25th, thirty-seven seniors from B-L High School were recognized at the Batesburg-Leesville Chamber of Commerce breakfast for being named as an Honors Graduate and/or an Associate of the Arts degree recipient from Midlands Technical College. B-L Chamber of Commerce President Mike Taylor and B-L High School Principal Sonya Bryant were on hand to present students with certificates. They were accompanied by Tom Ledbetter, Suzy Lee, and Rosemary Knowlton from Midlands Technical College.

B-L High School’s commencement ceremony is set for Friday, May 31st at 7 pm. Students who are receiving a Midlands Technical College degree are eligible to also participate in the college’s graduation ceremony being held on May 8th at the Colonial Life Arena.
