Springdale PD reminds public that it is illegal to buy alcohol for people under 21

Springdale, SC (Angelica Iglesias) - Springdale Police Department partnered with local businesses and Midlands Alcohol Enforcement Team to remind the community that it is illegal to provide alcohol to anyone under the age of 21.

Officers placed cards around bottles of alcohol in several businesses that encourage people to prevent underage drinking.

With prom season in full swing, they just want students to enjoy their prom in a safe and legal way, according to the police department's Facebook page.
