The big-top set to return to Lexington County with circus in Batesburg-Leesville

Batesburg-Leesville, SC (Paul Kirby) – The circus is coming, the circus is coming. Can we go mom and dad, the circus is coming! That’s right folks, the big-top is going up in Batesburg-Leesville as the Kelly Miller Circus comes to town. Don't miss this one-night event on Monday, May 20th. The Kelly Miller Circus promises stars from all over the world will be there. Rolla Bolla, Hula Hoops, Balancing Trapeze, and the Russian Swings are just some of the acts you’ll have the opportunity to see.

According to their website at kellymillercircus.com, this circus has been travelling and entertaining for 80 years. The 2019 Kelly Miller Circus season presents a more intimate atmosphere, with no one being more than 50 feet away from the action. While Kelly Miller Circus still supports circuses with exotic animals, they say this year they have chosen to be exotic animal free. The Kelly Miller Circus travels all throughout the United States, still raises a traditional big-top tent, and can entertain 600 guests a show.

The show in Batesburg-Leesville will be held in the field by the Leisure and Sr. Citizens Center at 227 Highland Avenue. There will be a show at 5:30 and another at 8 p.m. Tickets are available online at www.bestcircus.com and at locations throughout town.Proceeds will support the Batesburg-Leesville Chamber of Commerce.
