Man and woman arrested after Gaston drug seizure
Gaston, SC - Lexington County narcotics agents arrested two people and seized a large quantity of meth, cash and a gun after executing a search warrant at a Gaston home last week.
Daniel Scott Burgess, 35, is charged with trafficking meth and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, according to warrants.
Jessica Nicole Geohagan, 27, is charged with trafficking meth and possessing a weapon during a violent crime, according to arrest warrants.
“A tip led investigators to Burgess’ home in the 1600 block of Busbee Road,” Lexington County Sheriff Jay Koon said. “Agents seized 22 grams of meth, 35 grams of marijuana and more than $8,000 in cash from the home.”
Geohagan was arrested at Burgess’ home and found to be in possession of 52 grams of meth and a handgun, according to Koon.
Burgess is being held in the Lexington County Detention Center on a $15,000 bond. Geohagan has been released after posting bond.
