B-L Elementary School students wow audiences with Annie Jr. performance

Batesburg-Leesville, SC - B-L Elementary School students left audience members smiling from ear to ear on Saturday, May 18th as they performed the Broadway musical Annie Jr. for crowds at the Lexington County School District Three Fine Arts Center.

Students auditioned to be in the play back in January and have been rehearsing and working with acting coaches all throughout the spring semester.

The play was directed by B-L Elementary School music teacher Kristen Pugh. Assistant Directors were David LaTorre and Meredith Barfield. Courtney Evans was the choreographer and Karen Wheeler was the set designer.
