School bus involved in minor accident on Fairview Road

Fairview, SC (Paul Kirby) – A Lexington School District One school bus was involved in a collision with another vehicle on Fairview Road near Neeley Wingard Road around 4:00 p.m. Thursday afternoon. Students were on the bus but no one was reported injured in either vehicle.

Units from Lexington EMS and the fire service responded to check out the occupants. Most emergency equipment was cleared to return to their quarters before arriving on the scene because of the minor nature of the accident. The scene was left with a SC state trooper who is investigating the collision.
