Lexington, SC (Paul Kirby) – Investigators are asking the public if they recognize a vehicle and its occupant that they say committed a larceny from an unlocked truck on Tuesday, May 21, 2019. The mini van that the suspects were driving is white, and the video of it makes it very easy to see.
On the date in question, the white mini van passes the victim’s home and then quickly backs into their drive. The passenger gets out, runs to a Ford pickup in the drive, and then ransacks it, stealing several items. During the time that the man was going through the cab of the truck, the driver of the van opens his door and acts as a lookout to ensure no one comes out of the home and catches the thief in the act. The investigators are asking that the public watch the video carefully. Even though the man’s face is hard to see, his build, height, race, and the van he was in are clearly visible.
