Cayce, SC (Paul Kirby) - The Cayce Department of Public Safety is requesting the community’s help identifying the subject shown in the attached video. The suspect was involved in an armed robbery of a convenience store during the early morning hours of Sunday, June 9th, 2019.
The African American male appears to have a very dark complexion. He walks into the store carrying a red plastic fuel can. Investigators believe that he is wearing a wig and say he had sunglasses on. He is dressed in a black shirt with a design that resembles a skull and crossbones or something similar on its front. His pants are also dark, perhaps black or charcoal grey slacks or very dark jeans; his shoes may be black too. He has on a white, long-waisted jacket with a female Panda bear logo on the back.
After the man walks in, he eventually goes behind the counter with the clerk, pulls an all-black long gun out of his pants, and demands money. The clerk follows her training and complies with everything the robber says for her to do. She opens the cash drawer and lets the man take what he wants. Once he’s satisfied he has taken everything of value, he picks up his gas can and leaves the store with an undisclosed amount of money with him.
