Warrants issued for two shoplifters while another now being sought

Lexington, SC (Paul Kirby) – Two shoplifters wanted by the Lexington Police Department have now been identified and warrants have been issued for their arrest. This is due to multiple tips from the public they received.

Last week, police released photographs of two people, a man and a woman, who officers say were shoplifting at the Kohl’s on Sunset Boulevard. They asked the public for their help finding out who they were. That pair has since been identified as Robin Ayers and Brandon Suggs. Robin Ayers has been charged with Shoplifting Enhanced, which is a felony, and Brandon Suggs has been charged with Shoplifting. The police have obtained warrants for their arrest and are now hoping someone will know where they are so they can be taken into custody.

Now, investigators with the Lexington Police Department are hoping you will be able to do it again. They say that the man whose picture is attached went into Walmart and shoplifted several items with a total value of $52. He then returned those items to customer service for credit; items which he had never paid for in the first place.

They are looking for a white male who appears to have some speckled gray in his hair. He was wearing his hair in a style often referred to as a high and tight when the incident occurred. This style has almost no hair on the sides and a small amount right on top of his head. Most importantly, he has a tattoo of lips on the left side of his neck. Officers say he left the store in a black Chrysler 300.

If you have information regarding the whereabouts of Ayers or Suggs, please contact Detective Voravudhi at 803-358-1514. If you know who the single male from Wal-Mart is, please contact Detective Smith at 803-358-7262 or e-mail dsmith@lexsc.com.
