Lexington PD seeking help in identifying two vandals

Lexington, SC (Diana Nation) - The Lexington Police Department needs your help in identifying two individuals who vandalized a dumpster behind a business on Columbia Avenue in the Town of Lexington. Businesses, just like private citizens, must pay to have their trash removed. Those dumpsters most certainly are not free.

Sometimes people place items into dumpsters without permission and sometimes they take things out. This has resulted in businesses locking their dumpsters. When someone comes along and breaks into that dumpster for whatever reason, causing damage to the dumpster that is vandalism and that is a crime.

Take a good look at these photos, particularly the one of the man, who brazenly turns and looks directly at the camera. While you may not think that this is a high-profile crime, no one except this man and his partner should be financially responsible for the damage they did.
