Lexington PD seeks help identifying shoplifter

Lexington, SC (Diana Nation) - Once again, the Lexington Police Department needs your help in identifying a man who shoplifted items from a business on Sunset Blvd. in the Town of Lexington. Shoplifting isn’t just the problem of big business. Those businesses pass those losses onto the consumers in the form of shrinkage. All those losses to the company add up to higher prices for the consumers.

Investigators have learned that the public is an invaluable asset when it comes to identifying someone who helps themselves to items without taking them through the checkout lanes. This man was clearly caught on surveillance cameras in the shoe department checking out the footwear. He then apparently left the store with items he didn’t pay for.

If you have information regarding this investigation, please call Detective Heath at 803-951-4642. You can make tips at CRIMESTOPPERS at 1-888-CRIMESC or at www.midlandscrimestoppers.com or download the APP and click the submit a tip tab.
