Lexington residents opening celebration venue in Newberry County
Prosperity, SC (Paul Kirby) – Lexington County resident Kim Conness and her family are diving into the event hosting business by opening a celebration venue in the Prosperity area of Newberry County. Kim says the brand-new venue is family owned and will be family operated to ensure you get the experience you deserve.
The new venue is being called Southwind Acres. It’s located near Prosperity, SC, a quant town just north of beautiful Lake Murray. According to Kim, Southwind Acres offers beautiful indoor and outdoor ceremony sites with a spacious barn venue. It is surrounded by spectacular wooded views.
The facility offers a great location for any special occasion. It will host weddings, rehearsal dinners, bridal and baby showers. It’s also just right for family reunions, festivals, fundraisers, photo shoots, business meetings or corporate outings, according to Kim. All these events can either be held inside, outside, or both.
Key features of the property include private bride and groom suites that are perfect for big day preparations. Their landscaped grounds are a gorgeous backdrop for your stunning photos, according to Kim.
The Grand Opening celebration, scheduled for August 24th, 2019 from 4-9 p.m., provides everyone an opportunity to see the property and enjoy the Conness’ hospitality. Kim said the entire venue will be expertly dressed for an elegant, country-style event. During the Grand Opening you can meet the owners, dance to the sounds of Lake Murray DJ Services, see floral designs, get decoration ideas, and enjoy some BBQ. There's even going to be a bouncy house for family fun! Southwind Acres can be found at 1337 Bethel Church Road in Prosperity, SC.
