Lexington, SC (Paul Kirby) – Investigators with the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department are asking the public to help them find a middle-aged man after a woman's body was discovered in his home Tuesday. This transpired in the 200 block of Carriage Hill Court just outside of Lexington.
Investigators say that they are looking for 50-year-old Vincent Shivers after finding the body at his home. Shivers was reported missing after his co-workers asked deputies to look for him at his house after he failed to show up for work. Sheriff Jay Koon said, “We’ve been trying to find Mr. Shivers since arriving at his home for a welfare check Tuesday morning. It’s important for us to talk with him and make sure he’s OK.”
Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher said that Roselynn W. Cedeno, 45, of Lexington was found dead at the home shortly before noon on September 3, 2019. She had been shot multiple times. Fisher has classified the death as a homicide. Her report states that Cedeno was shot on September 2nd or Labor Day.
Detectives think that Shivers may be driving a black, 2017 Ford F-150 pickup. The truck has a SC tag of KDD-528.
If anyone has an idea where Shivers might be, they are asked to contact the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department and ask to speak with a detective.
