CPS Technicians will also make sure a car seat has not been recalled or is in need of replacement. A child’s safety while riding within a vehicle is always important and making sure that their car seat is installed correctly is easy for a CPS Technician to check.

Thanks to ongoing partnerships with local businesses, the Lexington Police Department is able to incentivize each of these child safety seat check events with giveaways and the support from Blue Bell Creameries, Chick-fil-A Lexington, Chick-fil-A Saluda Pointe, Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt is greatly appreciated.
