South Congaree police officer need help finding suspects who stole dirt bike

South Congaree, SC (Paul Kirby) – South Congaree police officers are seeking the public’s help in locating a dirt bike that was stolen from a driveway Saturday. Police say that it was taken from a home on Chapel Road during the Carolina vs. Alabama game.

Police Chief Josh Shumpert said that the bike’s owner had stopped at a family member’s home to watch some of the football game. It was around 3:00 p.m. when he left the bike in the drive. When he came out later, his motorcycle was gone. Chief Shumpert said that someone must have seen whoever took the bike on a sunny Saturday afternoon.

The bike is a bright green 2013 Kawasaki KLX 140. It’s very much like the one pictured with this article. If you’ve seen it, or know where it is, please call South Congaree police department’s dispatch at (803) 785-2521.
