Swansea, SC - Children at Sandhills Primary Elementary School got a special delivery last week- Reading Buddies!
Teachers know how important it is to read daily. The more children read, the better readers they become. To encourage more reading at home, 1st and 2nd grade students in Ms. Mary Eades’ and Ms. Angela Farris’ classes received their own reading buddies. These young students “adopted” a new stuffed friend, promised to read to their buddy each day for at least 20 minutes, and started on the road to being a lifelong reader! It was an exciting day at SPES!

FedEx has usually been reliable for my work deliveries, but I’ve definitely experienced a few frustrating delays during busy holiday seasons when tracking updates suddenly stopped changing for days. What makes situations like that stressful is not always knowing whether the package is actually moving or stuck somewhere unexpectedly. Recently I started reading customer feedback online before shipping expensive items, and browsing fedex reviews gave me a much clearer idea of the delivery problems other people have faced recently.
