Cell phone store in Cayce robbed

Cayce, SC (Paul Kirby) – The Cayce Department of Public Safety is in the early stage of an investigation into an armed robbery at the T-Mobile on Charleston Highway. They currently have three suspects in custody at this time.

Apparently, the suspects took several phones before fleeing the store in a Lexus SUV. Police quickly located the phones, the vehicle, and the men in the 12th Street area. Those suspects were detained about 10:20 a.m. Wednesday. Of the three suspects, two were wanted on other charges in other jurisdictions before being apprehended by Cayce officers.

First Sergeant Evan Antley, spokesman for the Cayce Department, said that they will provide further information as their work on the case continues. He said they don’t want to say anything at this point that may jeopardize their investigation. We will continue to update this story as more information becomes available.
