Pine Ridge Police Department ready to share blessings with their community this Thanksgiving

Pine Ridge, SC (Paul Kirby) - The Pine Ridge Police Department is preparing to show their thanks for a bountiful year. They are looking forward to families, friends and the community getting together for a day of communication and gratitude. They will also be helping the less fortunate with a FREE Thanksgiving meal.

According to the department, they are giving thanks for their community and its blessings by giving away full turkey dinners to families who may need the extra help during the holidays. They will be doing this on Sunday, November 24th, 2019 at the Pine Ridge Police Department. It is located at 2757 Fish Hatchery Road in Pine Ridge (West Cola.) Serving will be on a first come first serve basis. The food will begin serving at 2pm and continue until 5pm. According to Macey Silano, you can walk in, get your meal, and walk out with all you need for Thanksgiving Dinner!

Each dinner includes a fresh turkey and non-perishable traditional thanksgiving sides. The turkey’s weights will vary. There is a limit of one dinner package per family while the supplies last. You can find out more at this Facebook Event Page: https://www.facebook.com/events/2364819486977016/.
