Lexington, SC – An 11-year-old male who attends Carolina Springs Middle School has been charged with threatening students after deputies determined he made a statement about blowing up the school during a class Thursday.
A Lexington County deputy interviewed the student, whose name will not be released because he’s under the age of 18, at the school Thursday afternoon. The student was released to the custody of his mother.
He will appear in Lexington County Family Court at a later date.
