Pine Ridge Turkey Dinner Giveaway a huge success

Pine Ridge, SC (Paul Kirby) – On Monday, November 25, 2019, the Town of Pine Ridge and its Police Department hosted theirTurkey Dinner Giveaway. According to the small town, the attendance was remarkable. They said they were completely out of dinners within the first 30 minutes of the event!

A lot of individuals from not only their community but 8 other zip codes came out to receive a free turkey dinner. With every dinner, they asked each family receiving a dinner how many they were feeding. Pine Ridge’s efforts provided food for 115 individuals who now can enjoy traditional foods this Thanksgiving.

In their report on social media, a spokesperson for the town said, “We want to thank our community for their support, including the Pine Ridge Women's Club and Bi-Lo on Charleston Highway for being great ambassadors to our community.”
