South Congaree Police Department needs help identifying vehicle and suspects in burglary investigati

South Congaree, SC (Paul Kirby) – The South Congaree Police Department has obtained a good photograph of a vehicle they believe was used in a burglary. This happened in the early hours of Friday, November 29, 2019.

The suspects in the car are believed to have used a blunt object to smash their way into a liquor store near the Food Lion on Main Street. They dashed in, grabbed some merchandise, and then dashed out before speeding away. Cameras from other properties in the shopping complex were able to capture the image of the car.

Please take a close look at the picture. The two men may have been involved in a string of robberies of package stores across Lexington County the same morning. Investigators in Cayce believe they caught the same men on video. They were also doing a smash and dash burglary at another liquor store in that city. That video can be seen here. (VIDEO)

If you recognize this car or know anything about these men, please call Detective Washington with the South Congaree Police Department at (803) 755-2760 ext. 102.
