West Columbia, SC - Airport High School’s Student Government and the Scooter Scott Project were sponsors of a project to feed families in our local communities for Thanksgiving.

Students from Airport High School, local businesses and Scooter Scott Project Partners all came together to feed 65 families for the Thanksgiving break, November 27-30. These baskets included items for Thanksgiving meals, household goods, snacks and all families received a hearty, cooked and seasoned turkey. Baskets were packed by Student Government members, volunteers and Scooter Scott Project Friends.

Airport will continue the feeding of our families from the school, Fulmer Middle and the Scooter Scott Project over Christmas break. Donations can be dropped off in the main office of Airport High School through December 15.

"To be part of a Lexington Two family that gives back to others, right here in our community, is just one more reason why I choose to live, work and serve those in Cayce West Columbia,” said Airport teacher and student activities director Daniel Bailey.
