Lexington County Fire Marshal, South Congaree PD closes Dollar General until violations resolved

South Congaree, SC (Diana Nation)– After conducting an inspection and discovering several code violations, Dollar General, located at 1090 Main Street, South Congaree, has been closed until those violations are resolved.

According to South Congaree Police Chief Josh Shumpert, the code violations are related to entrances and exits being blocked as well as other fire hazards being present.

According to the South Congaree Police Department’s Facebook page, the Lexington County Fire Marshall and South Congaree Police Department closed the store after several code violations were evident upon inspection and the store will remain closed until those violations are corrected.
