West Columbia, SC (Diana Nation) - Airport High School’s JROTC drill team won the All Army Palmetto State Drill Team Championship over the weekend, the 10th consecutive year the team has taken the title.
In addition to its overall first place finish, Golden Talon team members also won First Place in Squad Exhibition with and without Arms, Squad Regulation without/Arms, Color Guard, Regulation Platoon Inspection with Arms and Platoon Regulation without/ Arms.
They finished second place in Duet Exhibition without Arms, Platoon Exhibition without Arms and Solo Exhibition with Arms.
They took third place in Platoon Regulation without Arms.
CSM Harry Ferguson is the Airport drill team’s coach and adviser.
