City of Cayce officials excited about old shopping plaza jumping with new businesses

Cayce, SC (Paul Kirby) – The City of Cayce is “Jumping for Joy” at the announcement that another business is coming to their fair city. It will help fill out an old shopping plaza that had been almost empty for years after its anchor grocery store closed. Now, another new and exciting business says it is locating there and promise the place will be hopping after it opens.

According to the City, the Summit Adventure Park, a business described as a trampoline park, has selected Cayce and the plaza at Frink Street and Charleston Highway as the location for their latest facility. This is going to be an exciting place! People can just have fun, get some exercise, and have special events there too. This is a business that has lots of these parks across the nation.

The shopping plaza was once anchored by a grocery store. That grocer closed years ago and a few businesses like the Pizza Hut and Dollar Tree were located there. The grocer’s space is huge and a jewel in the rough for someone who needs the amount of square footage it offered. Other businesses tried the plaza, but without that all-important anchor, none stayed for long.

There will be lots of different things to do and ways to have fun. These include the trampoline courts, and areas for everything from dodgeball to a big air bag. There’s something called a ninja course, a kid’s court, and more. You can check out the Charleston location’s website at summitadventureparkcharleston.com to see what they offer. This place should be a blast!

People pay by the amount of time they play. There are passes for60, 90, or 120 minutes. There are also rates for groups and events like birthday parties.

No actual opening date has been set but you can bet the area’s children are ready to get their jump on. There’s some remodeling to do and then you can be jumping for joy with your friends, children, and others! Check back for more as additional information is released.
