Lexington, SC (Paul Kirby) – It seems as if shoplifters often target the Target in Lexington where some think they can just help themselves without paying when they leave. When this happens, the loss prevention team at Target partners with The Lexington Police Department to do everything they can to put a stop to this criminal behavior.
Once again, the Lexington Police Department needs the public’s assistance to identify a man who was involved in shoplifting from the Target on Sunset Boulevard on December 29, 2019. He was caught on video leaving the store, but that footage is not very clear and is difficult to see. The photos of the car he got into the passenger seat of are a little better. That car appears to have two shades of paint on its right or passenger side.
Once again, no tip is insignificant. If you have any idea who this is or he or the car might be, please make the call. Information about this incident should be phoned into Detective Payton at 803-358-7271.
