Gaston, SC (Paul Kirby) – Residents in the area of Fallaw Road and Rob Fallaw Road between Gaston and Swansea were very concerned Monday to learn a nearby home was shot at overnight. One neighbor reported he heard multiple gunshots ring out sometime around 3:30 or 4:00 a.m.

According to Captain Adam Myrick, spokesman for the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department, no injuries were reported inside the residence in the 900 block of Fallaw Road. Callers reported to 911 that multiple shots had been fired at the home, but after deputies arrived at the location, no one was found nearby.

Since the incident, detectives and crime scene investigators have interviewed those inside the home. They’ve also collected potential evidence from the immediate area. According to Myrick, their work on the case continues.
