Lexington, SC (Paul Kirby) – The Town of Lexington announced over their social media accounts that construction work will begin on South Lake Drive starting today, Thursday, January 23, 2020. The work will be from Cinnamon Hill at the railroad tracks toward Industrial Drive.
According to the town, drivers headed away from the Town of Lexington will only be able to use one lane of South Lake Drive. The work will start at 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. if all goes well. Major delays are not expected, however, the Town asks that motorist be aware of the road crews in the area and use caution.
