Lexington police asking for help to identify wheelchair bound shoplifter

Lexington, SC (Paul Kirby) - The Lexington Police Department is asking for help to identify a man they say was involved in a shoplifting incident. The crime occurred at the Lowes home improvement store in Lexington.

The suspect appears to be wheelchair bound. He’s a black male wearing a hoodie with a white logo, a dark cap, and other clothes that appear to be athletic wear. He has several items in his lap while in the store.

Please take a close look, the picture is of good quality. Share this picture over social media with your friends. It’s already been shared many times by others willing to help. Someone must know this man. Being handicapped does not excuse bad behavior and Lexington PD has proven time and again they take these crimes seriously.

If you have information regarding this investigation, please contact Detective Voravudhi at 803-358-1514.
